Lu is an experience registered nurse, mother of six, and grandmother of 2. Originally from North Carolina, Lu decided to leave her hometown for "just one 13-week travel nursing assignment" in 2013 and quickly fell in love with the wild and wonderful state of Alaska. Soon after she married to the love of her life J, settled permanently in the region, and they now enjoy a subsistence fishing + hunting lifestyle in rural Southeast Alaska. Their family can most often be found on the Stikine River in their jet boat with their great dane Moose heading to their off-grid cabin.

Angel is the woman behind the scenes managing the day-to-day needs of the office. She is an intuitive and organized force with a listening ear and a positive mindset for the whole team. She is a mother, grandmother, and talented certified nursing assistant. She can be found crafting in her cabin or playing bingo with her friends in smalltown Alaska. She welcomes the newest addition to her family December 2024, her adopted puppy Willow.
